Nally’s big win! Xemoth beat WHO?! And a dark horse in Libya!

Wow, what a packed weekend we’ve had this time, with 7 whole locals happening in the Arab Smash League’s circle! How about we take a look at who came out on top this time around?

On Friday, 4 locals took place in KSA and Libya: 3 out of the 4 scenes in the biggest country in the GCC have hosted one being Jeddah, Sharqiyah and Riyadh, and the Libyans just did their usual weekly tournament in Tripoli.

On one hand, we see a new player in Tripoli, Max Dri, appear in the local and shred through half the competition, reaching winners finals against Yohan, the last local’s winner. LLF was having none of that as after his loss to Yohan, he makes a losers run to remember and ends up winning the tournament 6-2 in the runback!

On the other hand, KSA sees its new generation smashers taking over as, for a lack of better word, all local winners of this weekend are under the age of 18 (with the exception of Xemoth).

In Jeddah, despite the return of eMass, we see an insane losers run from Xemoth who ends up winning the tournament against one of the UK’s best in a very tight reset.

On Sharqiyah’s side, Natural N (aka Nally) tears through his bracket and gets a clean 3-0 in grands against Float, which makes this his first tournament win!

Then we have Riyadh Smashers celebrating their 7th anniversary with RS #105 and a special “Leorio bracket” which is their arcadian series. Just like last year’s anniversary, it’s ZoZef who takes first place of the tournament in a dominating fashion over Tooky, while the Leorio bracket sees a returning player takes its title, the one and only Hail!

Now onto Saturday, during which we had Qatar’s Fall circuit series, Kuwait’s usual KSL weekly and UAE Smashers’ Smash on Titan.

First, at KSL weekly #18, Galaxy asserts his dominance properly as he 6-0’s Soudsamus in grand finals despite getting 3-0’d right before, just to show he’s not playing around!

Second, $BK keeps his title of number 1 in Qatar even with Xaiop’s big return, as he beats him in both winners and grand finals, simply a solid performance.

Lastly, KJ takes his third trophy home from the winners side as he beats Seco and 3lissb in a remarkable fashion. Fortunately for him, Nabtah wasn’t here to stop him like he did last time.

Thank you all for following us and supporting us this time, and see you next week!
