Launching the Arab Smash League

It is our pleasure to announce the official launch of the Arab Smash League. The league is a cross-regional collaborative project which aims to unite the scene under one umbrella. The goal of the league is to facilitate more collaboration between tournament organizers and scenes in the region on major tournaments and coordinate events. This initiative also aims to foster a stronger bond between players in the region across borders. The initiative consists of multiple projects, including a website, a central calendar for major events, a YouTube channel which hosts all of our tournament matches, a regularly updated leaderboard which allows players to view data on top players as well as their own, and finally a website and multiple social media channels for easier communication.

The Arab Smash League currently consists of the following founding members, Super Smash Bros. Qatar; Underground Gaming, representing Kuwait; Headshot Gaming Center, representing Bahrain; RiyadhSmashers; KV Series, representing Riyadh; Jeddah Arena Battle; Sharqiyah Fighters; Out of Shield, representing Medina; Super Smash Bros Lebanon; Smashistan, representing the United Arab Emirates; as well as UAE Smashers.

The league is a non-profit entity that coexists along its scene. It acts as a platform onto which scenes can better market themselves, foster cross-regional projects, and share experiences.
